The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 RTM bits are now available on the Microsoft Download Center.  Congratulations again to the R&D team for their work on this breakthrough release!
 
As we did with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, we have chosen to make the RTM bits available prior to the formal GA (general availability) of the product on April 1st. This allows our field and partners to begin to deliver the benefits of the new release to our customers immediately.  The early release means that:
 
•    New license keys are required for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011.  As of today, only 90-day trial keys are available.  Production keys will become available on April 1st (approximately 45 days from now), and trial keys can then be upgraded to production keys with no reinstall required.  The update to production keys is done using the Deployment Manager console (MMC).
 
•    Customers can use the CRM 2011 RTM bits immediately for either test or production deployments.  Production systems will need to be upgraded to production keys before the trial keys expire.
 
•    Any customers and partners that don’t want to use the trial-key/production-key process in the short term can choose to wait for the April 1st GA date.
